Habitat for Humanity Work Week

Central has agreed to be a part of the building of a house for Summer and Richard Mays and their family this fall. This house will be built 110 Lilly Street, Bristol, TN, which is across East State Street from First Presbyterian Church. We will be looking for volunteers to help with building walls, and raising the walls and then as a part of our week of work, October 16-19. We will need people who are willing to learn a new skill or to help out on the site. You do not have to know how to do any construction; you will be taught on site. You can register as a volunteer on the website: www.holstonhabitat.org. To sign up for the Central Work Week, October 16-19, the password is CENTRAL.  You can see restrictions in ages for youth on the website under the Youth policy. So make plans now and come be a part of a great experience this fall in helping to build a house for a family.

***For our work week, we also need to provide lunch for each of the four days. If you would like to provide lunch or deliver it to the site, there is a signup sheet on Ann Aichinger’s office door. Lunch needs to include the food and drinks as well as paper products.
